These are a few of my favorite projects — ones where I played a key role in both design and research. Virtual Hope Box is a great example of my interface design skills and usability testing approach. I also led the redesign of DHA MedCard, transforming an outdated application into a more modern, user-friendly experience.

Virtual Hope Box

Virtual Hope Box is one of the most downloaded apps that the Defense Health Agency offers. I led a full redesign of the app working with the Web and Mobile Technologies division of DHA. VHB focuses on providing tools to service members to help manage and improve mental health.

VHB Usability Study

After completing a full redesign of the app we wanted to test our design decisions by conducting user testing. I created a clickable prototype of the Guide Me section of the app and met with users to find out what works and what doesn't.

DHA MedCard is an app for military members and veterans who need assistance picking up their prescriptions. I led a full redesign of the application which included usability testing and revising designs based on feedback. I also redesigned the app logo.

Weird Radio Redesign

Weird Radio is an online radio station founded by music lovers for music lovers. When I was introduced to the website the first thing I noticed was that it could benefit from a redesign utilizing UX principles. The goal wasn't just to make the website look better, it was to discover what users enjoy about a site like Weird Radio.
